Introduced in TestArchitect 9.5 Update 2, TestArchitect UI Mapify is our brand-new web inspection tool designed to replace the legacy Web Interface Viewer.

Known Issues

[UI Mapify] AUT hangs when find element with large number of matched elements in shadow DOM.This issue can occasionally occur when finding generic locators (e.g., span, a, div) within an AUT that contains thousands of elements nested across multiple Shadow DOM levels, which can temporarily affect tool performance.

Workaround: If you experience this hang, please refresh the webpage and try using a more specific or unique locator.
[UI Mapify] The panel doesn’t display when opening local fileTo inspect local files (file:///) using UI Mapify, you need to grant the extension permission. Go to the extension details page in your browser and enable “Allow access to file URLs.”
