UI Mapify

In order to implement test scripts that interact with a website’s GUI, an automation engineer must capture information into an interface definition. An interface definition is a collection of maps that allow the automation to find windows and controls. TestArchitect refers to these as interface entities and interface elements.

UI Mapify is a powerful and friendly support tool that allows you to inspect, verify and save all or parts of an interface definition, and to explore HTML elements on many kinds of websites.

Important:
  • UI Mapify is not available on TestArchitect for Linux and macOS machines.
  • For applications running in desktop web browsers, UI Mapify currently only supports Chrome.
  • As of TestArchitect 9.5.2, UI Mapify can successfully identify and capture elements residing within a Shadow DOM.
