connect cloud device

Description

Logically connect to a cloud-based device and make that device the target for the automation.

Arguments

• name

  Logical name of the target cloud device

• session id

  Variable to hold the returned session ID of the connected cloud device.

Notes

• This built-in action applies only to WebDriver based cloud services. (Learn more.)
• name argument:
  • The name is established in advance by the assign cloud device action, which assigns a logical name to a mobile cloud device.
• This action supports the <ignore> modifier. If the string <ignore> is present as the value of any of the arguments, or any argument contains an expression that evaluates to <ignore>, the action is skipped during execution.
