Editing a user-defined field
You can edit the Name, Short Name, or Default Value properties of all user-defined fields.
Expand the Administration > Fields node in the TestArchitect explorer tree.
Right-click the field node that you want to edit, and select Edit Field.
Fastpath: Press Enter on your keyboard.
In the Edit Field dialog box, edit the Name, Short Name, or Default Value properties as required.
Click Apply.
The user-defined field is updated based on your changes.
Restriction:
When naming a user-defined field, avoid any of the following special characters:| Apostrophe | ' |

Note also that:
- A period (.) is permitted anywhere in the name.
- Numeric digits are permitted anywhere in the name, except at the beginning.
